Julie Woodruff is a graduate of the natural sciences program here at Shawnee State University who has also earned her science teaching licensure. Julie began her journey at Shawnee as a pre – med student but realized that she wanted to pursue a degree she could obtain more quickly. Julie’s advisor helped her turn her passion for science and love for children into earning her bachelor’s degree in natural science as well as her science teaching licensure.
“I picked Shawnee because it made me feel more comfortable,” Julie Says. “The small classes really helped and gave me the ability to get to know my professor.” Julie is currently teaching at Pike County Career Technical Center.
