Let's get your college journey off to an outstanding start with Weekend of Welcome!

During this multi-day virtual and on-ground event, you’ll receive your official welcome to Shawnee State University, learn about the business of being a college student, and get connected to key student life and academic services. Oh, you’ll have lots of fun, too.

Our Weekend of Welcome is for all new students — whether you plan to live on campus or commute from home. WOW is designed to help new students make the transition to college life and everyone on campus celebrate the start of a new academic year.

This year’s WOW is scheduled for Friday, August 20 - Sunday, August 22, but the dates are subject to change based on COVID restrictions.
