*Note: Observation Hours Requirement waved for 2021

Due to Covid-19 restrictions impact on healthcare facilities reducing opportunities for student applicants to complete observation hours, the PTA program has made the decision to remove the requirement for observation hours this spring. However, it should be noted that we will continue to award points for students that are able to obtain observation hours (up to the 40 hours that are typically required).

Students will not be eliminated from eligibility if they are unable to obtain any observation hours. It would be an advantage for students to complete as many observation hours as available to them (up to 40 hours)
