IS background in business provides students with the opportunity to pursue both technical and managerial careers in organizations that incorporate leading edge technologies.

A firm background in business as well as IS provides those students interested in starting their own businesses the knowledge and tools necessary to be successful in the endeavor.

US Bureau of Labor Statistics, Occupational Outlook reports the job outlook for IS Managers 2016-2026 to be 12% growth (average is 6%).

Median salary for an IS Manager is $131,600 per year ($63.27 per hour).

Facilities

Kricker Hall has 4 computer labs with 25 PC's in each lab with overhead projector attached to the instructor's PC for class presentations. These PC's are upgraded every 3 years so that the labs are always state-of-the-art. Software is upgraded to match industry demands and latest versions.

An additional Network Lab is also located in KRI254 to give students hands-on experience in the fields of networking, hardware and security.
