Belonging - the intersectionality of diversity, equity and inclusion whereas each individual can reach their fullest potential by being their authentic self and having their beliefs and values integrated within the group or organization.

Diversity - recognizing and understanding the differences of human beings. These differences include age, disability status, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, national origin, race, religion, sexual orientation, veteran status and any other characteristic that makes individuals unique.

Equity - recognizing and understanding that each human being has different experiences and circumstances that require fair treatment and equal access, advancement and opportunity. Also, includes recognizing and eliminating barriers that prevent belonging in the workplace.

Inclusion - recognizing, understanding and being active in creating environments in which human beings feel belonging, acceptance, respected and valued.
