Admissions Information:

Applications to the Occupational Therapy Bachelor’s to Master’s (3+2) program are reviewed on a rolling basis and will be accepted until the cohort is full. Early application is strongly encouraged due to the selective nature of the program.

Applying for Admission:

The 3+2 Occupational Therapy program at Shawnee State University is a selective, dual-admission pathway that requires both undergraduate and graduate applications.

To be considered for admission, applicants must:

  1. Have a minimum high school GPA of 3.0.
  2. Have a minimum ACT Math score of 22 and a composite ACT score of 24.
  3. Apply for undergraduate admission to Shawnee State University using the Undergraduate Application.
  4. Complete the Graduate Application for the Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) program.
    • Students admitted to the 3+2 pathway are dually admitted as undergraduate and graduate students.
    • The graduate application fee is deferred until Year 3 of the program.
  5. Complete 20 volunteer hours under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR/L).
    • Volunteer evaluation form(s) must be completed by the supervising OTR/L using this form: Volunteer Form
    • Forms must be submitted to the Shawnee State University Graduate School.
