The Shawnee State University autumn graduating class has raised $751.14 for The Shawnee Fund within the SSU Development Foundation. The amount, raised through the foundation’s annual Senior Gift program, was made possible thanks to the commitment and generosity of 37 seniors each making gifts of at least $20.21 to commemorate their graduation year.

Hunter Bennington, a native of Wheelersburg, Ohio, will be graduating from Shawnee State University this December with a bachelor’s degree in Health Science. A member of the SSU Men’s Cross Country and Track teams, Bennington has enjoyed his time as a student-athlete on campus.

Autumn graduate Carly Shepherd, majoring in Musical Theatre with a minor in Dance, has gained new skills and strengthened existing ones thanks to her participation at Shawnee State University.
