Shawnee State University’s School of Education is seeking presenters for their upcoming Spring Education Conference.

The Shawnee State University Alumni Association recognizes five individuals for their achievements in their career fields and their communities in the presentation of the Alumni Awards. The 2021 awards include Distinguished Alumnus, Medal of Merit, Alumni Continued Service, Outstanding Recent Graduate, and Alumnus of Tomorrow.

Student Jeffery Slack serves as the vice president of the Shawnee State University Student Veterans of America (SVA) organization. SSU’s SVA is a group of military active duty, veterans, and veterans’ dependents.

The Shawnee State University autumn graduating class has raised $751.14 for The Shawnee Fund within the SSU Development Foundation. The amount, raised through the foundation’s annual Senior Gift program, was made possible thanks to the commitment and generosity of 37 seniors each making gifts of at least $20.21 to commemorate their graduation year.
