The Shawnee State University Development Foundation (SSUDF) is hosting their inaugural Rubber Ducky Derby to raise money for The Shawnee Fund.

Shawnee State senior Mitchell Patchett is looking forward to his upcoming eSports season competing in “League of Legends.” The Graphic Design major from Dublin, Ohio is also a multi-sport varsity athlete. During the fall, Patchett is on the soccer team, and in the spring, competes through League of Legends for the eSports program.

Shawnee State University’s Pre-Med Club will host a virtual presentation with alumnus Dr. Cody Horn on Friday, Oct. 16.

Earlier this semester, Shawnee State University’s Office of Career Services & Workforce Development hosted their annual Etiquette Dinner to advise those students looking to sharpen their skills in professional dinner formats.

Shawnee State University invites all students, alumni, family, friends, and community members to take part in this year’s Stay at HOMEcoming. The virtual week-long event will be held Oct. 17-24 in place of SSU’s annual Homecoming Weekend.

The Shawnee State University Golden Bears program will be operating in a virtual format due to ongoing COVID-19 regulations. Temporarily paused of all events this past summer, the program will now be hosting multiple events throughout the week for its members to enjoy in a virtual – and safe – environment.

Corbin Betz has started his career in Radiologic Technology with extensive clinical experience gained as an SSU student. He looks forward to being able to help treat cancer patients and says SSU's program helped him build a strong resume.
