SSU Welcomes New Students During Orientation

More than 800 new students who will join Shawnee State University, along with their families, were welcomed during several orientation sessions held over the summer.

Homecoming 2019: Alumni & Family Weekend October 11 & 12

The Shawnee State University Development Foundation has established a Trojan Scholars Fund with up to five scholarships to be awarded each year to Portsmouth High School graduates.

We Banjo 3 to Perform at the Vern Riffe Center for the Arts

The award winning Irish band We Banjo 3 is set to perform at Vern Riffe Center for the Arts Eloise Covert Smith Theater on Thursday, August 1 at 7:30 p.m. The band's latest studio recording, Haven, was released in July of 2018 and spent 3 weeks at number one on the Billboard's Bluegrass chart.
