Shawnee State University Development Foundation is happy to announce its partnership with ViewSonic in support of SSU’s eSports program and the Shawnee Game Conference (SGC).
ViewSonic is a multinational electronics company specializing in visual display technology, specifically liquid-crystal displays, projectors, modern educational display technology and more.
ViewSonic will be contributing 12 XG2402 Gaming Monitors along with a gaming projector towards SSU’s eSports program.
“We’re excited to align ourselves with Shawnee State’s eSports program. We believe that every second counts within competitive gaming,” said Jason Maryne, Vertical Marketing Manager - Gaming, ViewSonic Corporation. “We plan on outfitting the team with gaming monitors to give their team the edge in practices and eSports tournaments.”
The monitors will also be used at the Rocket League Tournament during the SGC scheduled for November 2, 2018.
“ViewSonic’s contribution will help to improve our gaming area and our eSports arena’s atmosphere. I believe their monitors will kick us up to the next level,” said Travis Lynn, Game Engineering Instructor and eSports Assistant Coach at SSU. “This is a great start to our partnership and I’m looking forward to continue to build this relationship and promoting each other.”
