Offering up to $5,000 in scholarship prizes, awards will be given to the top three performers in the individual competition and to the top two in the team competition. Teams are made up of four participants and those registering not already part of a team will be assigned to a team the day of the competition. Schools can send multiple teams and individuals to the event to compete. Participants can choose to compete in both the team and individual competitions. Individual competitors will compete in a timed written exam, while teams will compete in a quiz-bowl style tournament. An option bonus problem will be given during the event’s mix and mingle break where correct answers will gain entry into two bonus prize drawings.
