The Plastics Engineering Technology program at SSU is accredited by the Engineering Technology Accreditation Commission of ABET, placing it among a select group of programs worldwide recognized for meeting high standards in engineering education. Students in the program gain skills to work with manufacturing and consumer businesses to develop plastics components for a variety of applications.

Registration begins at 9 a.m. in the Morris University Center Ballroom. The program starts at 9:30 a.m. and runs until 1:30 p.m. Attendees can meet faculty, students and alumni while participating in hands-on activities such as designing plastic parts, 3D printing and operating plastics processing equipment to create take-home polymer products like ice scrapers and Frisbees. The day also includes workshops,

presentations, lunch and campus tours. Admissions staff will provide campus visit verification forms for high school juniors and seniors.
