Shawnee State University’s Office of Career Services, in collaboration with Workforce Development, will host a Healthcare Career Fair on Monday, Sept. 25. The event welcomes SSU students and alumni who are interested in talking with employers in the healthcare career fields, including Nursing, Dental Hygiene, EMT, Medical Laboratory Technology, Radiologic Technology, Respiratory Therapy, Health Sciences, Exercise Science, Healthcare Administration, Occupational Therapy, and Physical Therapy about future employment and experiential education opportunities.
The career fair will take place in-person on the Mezzanine of the James A. Rhodes Athletic Center on campus from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Student and alumni registration for the career fair can be completed online at shawnee.edu/career-services-events. In addition, the online link provides more information about the career fair and the nearly 40 employers currently registered to attend.
The Office of Career Services is still accepting employer registrations for the Healthcare Career Fair, and a Handshake account is required to register. Employers may create a free account at shawnee.joinhandshake.com. A $50 flat fee is required, with a $10 charge for each additional in-person representative. Employers may register for the career fair online at shawnee.edu/career-services-events.
