Shawnee State University will host a College of Health and Human Services (CHHS) Discovery Day on campus from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 6.
This event invites prospective students interested in careers in health care and human services and highlights academic programs in allied health sciences, rehabilitation sciences and nursing.
Participants will have the opportunity to attend program-specific sessions, meet faculty and current students, tour campus, and learn more about admission requirements, clinical and field experiences and career outcomes. Attendees will also receive information about selective admission programs and the application process.
College of Health and Human Services programs prepare students for in-demand careers through hands-on learning, real-world experiences and strong partnerships with regional health care and community organizations.
