Pursuant to HB 197 of the 133rd Ohio General Assembly, recently signed by Governor DeWine, the Board of Trustees of Shawnee State University will hold its May 8, 2020 Board meeting and Committee meetings by teleconference.
Trustees and the public will be permitted to attend the meeting by teleconference. Trustees may vote by teleconference, and resolutions and other actions taken by the Board will have the same effect as if the meeting had taken place in person.
Time of meetings:
- Finance and Administration Committee 9:00 a.m.
- Academic and Student Affairs Committee at conclusion of Finance and Administration Committee meeting
- Board of Trustees Meeting at conclusion of Academic and Student Affairs Committee meeting

Participants, including Board members, are asked to identify themselves when they begin speaking and to mute their phones when they are not speaking.
Anyone wishing to introduce written materials into the meeting record, other than the material provided to the Board in advance of the meeting (shawnee.edu/about-us/leadership/board-trustees/meeting-material) are requested to send them electronically to potworth@shawnee.edu at least 24 hours in advance of the meeting.

As permitted by the notice procedures contained in HB 197 this notice supersedes the 2019-2020 meeting calendar approved by the Board of Trustees to the extent this notice is inconsistent with such calendar.
