What to do During an Emergency Situation
  • Remain calm and offer assistance as needed
  • Call the Campus Police and Security emergency number at (740) 351-3232
  • Evacuate buildings upon a fire alarm or by request from authorities
  • Shelter in place upon hearing a campus siren or seeing activation of an emergency notification device
  • Know the location of at least two emergency exits closest to your living, classroom or working areas
What NOT to do During an Emergency Situation
  • In order to keep lines open, do not use the telephone except to report an emergency
  • Do not use an elevator
  • Do not jeopardize your life and the lives of others by attempting to save property or personal possessions.
