Theta Phi Alpha
Nationally, for more than 100 years, the sisters of Theta Phi Alpha have maintained a history rich in educational excellence, professional achievement, and a deep commitment to social service. Theta Phi Alpha was founded at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor by ten women in August of 1912. By joining together, these founding women provided support and friendship to one another to meet the challenges that they faced, and to create an organization that would enable future generations to share that bond.
The Gamma Epsilon Chapter of Theta Phi Alpha at Shawnee State University was installed 2003. Established from the Beta Chapter of Delta Sigma Tau, a local Greek organization, the Gamma Epsilon chapter of Theta Phi Alpha strives to provide a welcoming atmosphere where members can safely grow in leadership and character
