Shawnee State University’s Center for Lifelong Learning will host a week-long enrichment program, the Young Innovators Academy, this summer for those students entering 3rd-5th grades. The camp will be held on campus Jun. 16-20.

The Young Innovators Academy is designed to empower students to explore creativity and innovation through hands-on projects. During the camp, students will design, build, and problem-solve using cutting-edge tools inspiring them in a fun, supportive environment through collaboration, critical thinking, and STEM skills. Led by experienced camp instructors, students will be able to broaden their skills in STEM fields for further exploration.

Schedule

  • 9:00-9:30 Drop-Off
  • 9:30-11:30 Learning Session 
  • 11:30-12:30 Lunch in the Bear's Den
  • 12:30-2:30 Learning Session
  • 2:30-3:00 Cleanup/Wrap Up
  • 3:00 Pick-Up

Registration

Camp registration for the Young Innovators Academy is $350 and includes lunch held daily in the Bear’s Den Dining Hall on campus.
