Shawnee State University partners with ViewSonic
Shawnee State University Development Foundation is happy to announce its partnership with ViewSonic in support of SSU’s eSports program and the Shawnee Game Conference (SGC).
ViewSonic is a multinational electronics company specializing in visual display technology, specifically liquid-crystal displays, projectors, modern educational display technology and more.
ViewSonic will be contributing 12 XG2402 Gaming Monitors along with a gaming projector towards SSU’s eSports program.
Ohio Department of Higher Education approves Shawnee State to waive standard tuition rates for nonpublic high school and home school students under College Credit Plus
The Ohio Department of Higher Education has approved Shawnee State University to waive standard tuition rates for nonpublic high school and home school students who do not receive funding under the College Credit Plus (CCP) program.
CCP has been open to private and home-school students since 2015, but the newly approved tuition waiver at the state-approved CCP program rate resolution will provide additional educational opportunities to these students by allowing them to self-pay for up to 30 credit hours per year at a reduced tuition rate.
Shawnee State University receives donation from Milacron

MHolland Company donates materials in support of Plastics Engineering Technology renovations
Shawnee State University's Plastics Engineering Technology received a donation of 1,600 pounds of white Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate (ASA) material from MHolland Company.
The donated ASA materials will be used to create a "living wall" as part of the upgrade to the new Plastics Engineering Technology facilities. The wall will consist of 3,564 hexagons ranging from 2.5 to 4.5 inches in maximal diameter. Hexagons will be produces via injection molding in the Mold Design Class and Senior Project Class. Students will manufacture the hexagons during the 2018 fall semester.
