Shawnee State University’s Respiratory Therapy and the Shawnee State University Development Foundation recently announced the donation of two hospital beds from Adena Health System to replace old equipment within the university’s lab.

Olivia Fliehman, a Sabina, Ohio native, is experiencing all of the different ways she can help people through the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program at Shawnee State University.

Shawnee State University will welcome Jack Hartmann to the Vern Riffe Center for the Arts on Friday, Feb. 9 for two events – a teacher workshop during the day and a family concert in the evening.
  

          

Shawnee State University’s Office of the Registrar has released the names of those students named to the President’s and Dean’s Lists within the university for the Autumn 2023 semester.

Over 200 full-time students earned a 4.00 GPA to be named to this semester’s President’s List while more than 550 full-time students earned a 3.5 to 3.99 GPA for Dean’s List recognition this semester.

Dr. Gabriel Brown, the Director of Shawnee State University’s Upward Bound Math & Science (UBMS) program, had the opportunity to take 12 students to Puerto Rico over Winter Break.

DeLaney Harper, a Winchester, Ohio native, is continuing her education in the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program at Shawnee State University.

Shawnee State University’s Office of Admissions will host a Showcase Day on Saturday, Feb. 17. The event welcomes high school students and parents who are interested in learning more about SSU and the various programs offered.

Savannah Fout, a Richmond Dale, Ohio native, qualified for the Free Tuition program as an incoming freshman at Shawnee State University. Majoring in Studio Arts, Fouts is confident in her decision to continue her education at SSU, aware of the stability this scholarship award gives her during, and after, her college years.
