Dr. Jennifer Pauley serves as Associate Provost for Academic Affairs and Student Success at Shawnee State University.
Dr. Pauley is a 1995 graduate of Shawnee State University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in English & Humanities. She received her master’s degree in English from Western Illinois University and her Ph.D. in English from Ohio University before returning to become a faculty member at her alma mater.
Before being appointed Associate Provost, Dr. Pauley served as the Chair of the Department of English & Humanities and Interim Dean of the College of Arts & Sciences. She received SSU’s Distinguished Teaching Award in 2012.
As the Associate Provost for Academic Affairs and Student Success, Dr. Pauley oversees SSU online programs, the Graduate School, the Student Success Center, programs in student retention, persistence, and completion, the Teaching & Learning Center, the Honors Program, and Faculty Labor Relations.
