Plastics and Advanced Manufacturing Day on December 4, 2026 is an interactive campus visit program which allows you to learn about Shawnee State's Plastics Engineering Technology and Advanced Manufacturing programs. You’ll get to meet with current students, successful alumni, and faculty.

Plastics and Advanced Manufacturing Day will start promptly at 9:30 am, with registration beginning at 9 am at the entrance to Flohr Lecture Hall in Clark Memorial Library. Your day includes a campus tour, parent and student interactive workshops, academic and scientific presentations, and of course, lunch!
Plus, Plastics and Advanced Manufacturing Day qualifies as a college visit for juniors or seniors attending high school. Staff from the Office of Admission will be available to sign campus visit verification forms.

SSU Plastics and Advanced Manufacturing Classes
Our plastics engineering technology program provides a solid theoretical foundation upon which to build a thorough understanding of polymer processing operations. Extensive “hands on” laboratory experience is provided in order that students can apply the technical knowledge acquired, using industrial scale equipment. We also have classes in 3D printing and additive manufacturing.
