10/09/2023InnovationShawnee State University dedicated the Dayton duMeleau Math Success Center (DDMSC) during a special ceremony on Sept. 29. The Center’s name was announced in Spring 2023 and is named after Dayton Allen Hunt, his wife of 55 years, Arlene May duMeleau Hunt, and her brother Donald Joseph duMeleau. Dedicated supporters of education, the Hunt-duMeleau family promoted careers tied to mathematical sciences. Making the donation in the Hunt-duMeleau family’s name was Dr. Linda Hunt, SSU Professor of Mathematical Sciences and the Director of Developmental Math and the DDMSC.
