To protect the campus community against an increased presence of illness, housing students who are not fully vaccinated will have pre-semester testing for COVID-19. Post-break testing may be required depending on the level of transmission and other metrics.
Proctored at-home test
Proctored testing is required of residential students who are not fully vaccinated. Free proctored at-home kits are available at check-in, Hatcher Hall, and DPS. Tests from other sources that provide documentation of proctored results are also acceptable.
- Proctored at-home tests should be done within 48 hours before move-in.
Residential Students Staying over Breaks: Students staying on campus over break need to complete an at-home test within 48 hours before classes begin.
Late Arrivals: If you will be arriving after classes begin, please communicate your estimated arrival to Housing. Those not fully vaccinated will be required to show proof of a negative test to retrieve their keys.
Pre-semester or post-break move-in
If Negative Test Results: Present your negative Navica test results from a Binax home-test or other off-campus test to your RA at your apartment and retrieve your Housing key.
If Positive Test Results: If results are positive do not approach Housing staff. Contact Housing at (740) 351-MYRA (6972) to make arrangements for a late arrival. Complete the required quarantine off-campus and re-test with a negative result before moving-in.
