Bradley Liston is a proud alumni of Shawnee State University. He is from Circleville, OH and graduated from Circleville High School, where he won a track and field state title. His high school athletic career helped his recruitment to SSU for cross country and track and field. Bradley chose to further his education at SSU because of athletics and he knew the education program would prepare him for the future.

As the first person to pursue a dual-licensure in the education department, Bradley had a tough schedule.

“The concentration I chose was extremely difficult. I took all of my courses with pre-med students.”

Along with graduating with a dual-licensure in math and science, Bradley was awarded All-American honors for his performance in cross country. He advises incoming students to get to know professors and have a one-on-one relationship with them. This is what helped him achieve great things at SSU.

Bradley is now a teacher and cross country coach at Portsmouth High School. He teaches physical science and Chemistry. When students ask him about college, he sends them to SSU if it is a good fit.
