Shawnee State University Telecommunications Services
Telecommunications Services plans, develops, implements and
administers voice communication solutions for Shawnee State University . They
service all departmental telephones, voicemail, and telephone cabling
infrastructure. This includes the emergency and courtesy phones as well.
Telephone cabling infrastructure and phone service is provided and serviced for
the Student Resident Halls.
Departmental Work requests and trouble calls are routed through UIS Help Desk
Requests and assigned to appropriate technicians.
Student Resident Hall work request and trouble calls need to
be routes through Student Activities ext.3217 and they will forward them to UIS
Help Desk.
Telecommunications also maintains the main console for incoming calls to the
University. These calls are routed by the campus operator to the requested
departments and individuals.
