Jonathan F. James, M.A.
Greetings! I have been at Shawnee State University since May of 2012 serving as a Residence Coordinator working with the Living-Learning Communities and First-Year Experience. The best part about working and living at SSU is the opportunity to interact directly with students daily, and make a positive impact on their living and learning experience outside of the classroom.
I graduated in May of 2008 with my Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from SSU, and received my Master of Arts of Degree in Leadership Studies, Emphasis in Higher Education from Marshall University in December of 2011.
My wife, Jessica, is an SSU alumnae, and also works on the SSU campus. We live on campus with our two children; cat, Mojo; and parakeet, Claude. Away from my work, I enjoy being active outdoors, specifically on my church’s softball team, coaching youth athletics, catching up with friends and family, cooking or utilizing social media. I am a Bow Tie, Boat Shoe and Coffee enthusiast! Often times, I can be found with all three.
Welcome to Shawnee State University, If I can ever be of any assistance to you, please feel free to e-mail, call or stop by to see me in University Center, Suite 222. Go Bears!
