Students who have previously attended Shawnee State University as a “degree seeking” student should apply for re-enrollment by following the steps below. 

To Re-Enroll at SSU:

Step One:
Complete Re-enrollment Application

Complete the re-enrollment application online. Be sure to update your personal information, submit information for all the required fields, and click the submit button at the bottom of that page.

Step Two:
Submit Transcripts (if applicable)

If you attended a college or university other than Shawnee State University prior to re-enrolling, please contact your previous institution and request an official copy of your transcript be sent to Shawnee State University. Electronic transcripts can be sent to admissions@shawnee.edu. Transcripts delivered electronically are usually received faster than transcripts that are mailed.

*Reminder: Official copies of transcripts from each of your previous institutions attended are required for re-enrollment. The Office of Admission is not able to accept copies issued to students or hand delivered.

Step Three:
Contact an Advisor

Once your re-enrollment application has been approved by the Office of Admission you will receive an email notification. Once approved, you are able to contact your academic department (or the Student Success Center if you are undecided) to meet with an academic adviser to determine your class schedule and obtain registration clearance before registering for classes.
