Mentorship Program

We are exploring the establishment of a mentorship program which would involve matching returning student veterans or Shawnee State faculty and staff veterans with new student veterans.  We want to provide the incoming veteran with a peer contact for information, support in helping them to reach their educational goals and a source of motivation in navigating the transition from the military to an academic environment.  The program will offer an opportunity for professional development, social networking and an exchange of ideas between veterans.
