Advising is focused on helping a student in planning each semester’s program of courses. The General Education Program is explained as well as departmental requirements. The faculty member will then counsel the student in the selection of appropriate courses. Throughout the advising process, the faculty member will review the student’s academic progress, assist in obtaining appropriate support services and periodically review the student’s educational plan. To obtain a faculty advisor, contact the department secretary of your major who will schedule you an appointment. |
