Microsoft Select Software Products

In consideration of making a second copy of any or all of the following Microsoft software products for my exclusive use on my home or portable computer:

Microsoft 32-bit Operating System Upgrades; Microsoft Office Professional or Office Standard; Microsoft Visual Studio Professional; and Microsoft FrontPage.

I understand that the use of this software at home is an extension of the license between SSU and Microsoft to use these software products for work-related purposes and must be deleted and removed from the temporary memory (RAM) and permanent memory (e.g. hard disk) of such computer at the end of the term of the Microsoft Education Select Master Agreement (June 30, 2007, unless extended by a subsequent agreement) or upon the termination of my employment relationship with Shawnee State University whichever occurs first.

 

I understand that this is an extension of the campus license to use this software in accordance with the Product Use Rights, a copy of which is available to me on the SSU web site and which I have had an opportunity to read. This license may not be transferred to anyone under any circumstances.

 

In consideration for this extension of home use rights of their Microsoft license, I agree to certify to Shawnee State University upon termination of my employment that I have deleted these products from the temporary and permanent memory of my home or portable computer or any other storage device or media and returned the software media to the university. I agree to hold harmless and indemnify Shawnee State University for any damages or liability arising from my failure to comply with the extension of home use rights granted to me through the Microsoft Select Master Agreement and the Product Use Rights. I understand that this notification and understanding is required by Microsoft as a condition for the extension of home use rights granted herein.
