All information technology-related items purchased with university funds receive UIS approval. As part of the purchase order process, this approval ensures that all items purchased meet minimum technology standards and are compatible with the SSU network.

UIS complies with all SSU purchasing procedures and acquires appropriate bids and IUC pricing as needed. By working with specific vendors, UIS is able to secure volume pricing and other value added services on behalf of the university community.

UIS provides quotes for the most commonly purchased items. Specific models are recommended as a campus standard in order to allow us to offer the highest level of support and service possible.
