About the Information Technology

The Information Technology (IT) staff in UIS consists of two Network Managers and a certified Network Engineer. This group is responsible for ensuring the campus network is fully operational, requiring management of 45 server-class machines, including all network devices and transmission media making up the campus infrastructure. Furthermore, this group is responsible for ensuring that the university's telecommunications system is in working order, including the main PBX switch as well as end-user phones.
