Shawnee State University does not discriminate on the basis of sex
in its education programs and activities.
The Title IX Coordinator at Shawnee State University
acts to ensure that sex discrimination complaints, which includes sexual
harassment and sexual violence, are responded to both thoroughly and in a
timely manner. While the Coordinator does not investigate complaints, he
is responsible for overseeing all steps in the process. Inquiries
concerning the application of Title IX may also be directed to the SSU
Title IX Coordinator as well as to the U.S. Department of Education
