Responsibilities The Shawnee State
University Office of Security is dedicated to providing the highest
quality security services to ensure that faculty, staff, students and
visitors enjoy a safe campus environment and institution of higher
learning. The Security Officer responsibilities include: Protection of the students, faculty, staff and visitors of Shawnee State University Escort Services Protection and security of Shawnee State University properties Campus-oriented community policing Campus patrol (vehicle, foot and bicycle) Alarm response (fire/smoke, burglary and panic) Report writing (criminal and non-criminal incidents) Medical response to ill or injured persons Emergency notifications Criminal investigations Crowd control
