The University Center provides dining, recreational and administrative
facilities in one building. Besides offering student services, the University Center is
the "Center of Student Life," and one of the most popular public
meeting/dining facilities in Southern Ohio. Listed below are the various facilities that
the University Center has available for both student and community use.
Sodexo Ballroom
is located on the second floor, has a
maximum capacity of 440. The ballroom is available for university and
non-university uses such as wedding receptions, meetings, conferences, banquets and family
reunions.
Pre-Function Area
is located
on the second floor, is adjacent to the Sodexo Ballroom, and has a
maximum capacity of 280.
Meeting Rooms
Four
meeting rooms on the second floor can accommodate
a variety of people for either meetings or dining.
Room 214 - Holds 150 people
Room 219 - Holds 30
Room 215 - Holds 150 people
Room 220 - Holds 8
Lounges
Seating
130 - 165 people in a lecture setting or 100 - 125 people for
dining.
Other University Center Facilities
Bears' Den Cafeteria
is located on the
first floor, Room 122 and offers a complete
daily hot meal menu, a full service salad bar, pizza station, sandwich/wrap
station, pasta bar and dessert bar.
Hours are:
Monday -Thursday.......7:30 am - 7:00 pm
Friday.........................7:30 am - 6:30 pm
Saturday.....................11:00 am - 6:00 pm
Sunday.......................11:00 am - 6:00 pm
Jazzman's Cafe
is located
on the first floor and invites patron to enjoy fresh brewed coffees,
fresh baked pastries, gourmet salads and hearty sandwiches and
wraps.
Hours are:
Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 9:30 pm
