Welcome to Student
Activities
The
purpose of the Department of Student Activities and Auxiliaries is
to prepare students for their post-collegiate experience through
encouraging responsibility, teaching critical thinking skills, and
providing opportunities for personal and social development.
In addition, the Department provides facilities and services to
on-campus and off-campus constituencies in an effort to build
community on campus and within the surrounding areas.
Ultimately, the Department provides an environment that fosters out
students' social, cultural, and educational experiences.

The University Center provides dining, recreational and
administrative facilities in one building. Besides
offering student services, the University Center is the "Center
of Students Activities," and one of the most popular public
meeting/dining facilities in Southern Ohio. There are various
facilities that the University Center has available for both
student and community use.

Shawnee State University Dining provides an
exciting and innovative dining services program for the entire
Shawnee state community. You’ll find great food, honest values,
and a comfortable atmosphere in which to enjoy it all. You have a
variety of restaurants to choose from, all conveniently located
within walking distance of on-campus housing,
labs/classrooms and many off-campus apartments.
