The Department of Natural Sciences at Shawnee State University invites applications for a continuing contract (tenure-track) position in Biological Sciences at the Assistant Professor level to begin August 2012.  Candidates must have a doctorate in a discipline appropriate to the study of Human Physiology or Anatomy and should have a strong interest in undergraduate teaching and the desire to involve undergraduate students in research.  Primary teaching duties include Anatomy, Physiology, Pathophysiology, and cadaver based Human Anatomy, and other courses as needed.  There may be an opportunity to be involved in developing a masters’ level program.  Other duties include institutional, departmental and community service and student advising.
