Unite The World
The Multicultural Affairs Office, located in 222 of the University Center, was established to:
- Provide multicultural students with the academic, social, and personal support services necessary to facilitate their success while enrolled at the University.
- Assist and foster within the University community a respect for and the appreciation of tradition, culture, and history of various multicultural and ethic student groups.
- Coordinate academic and administrative support for multicultural student development.
- Present programs for students of various multicultural ethnicities that will improve their retention and leadership skills.
AHANA - African, Hispanic, Asian, Native Americans
AHANA is a group of culturally diverse students, staff, and associates concerned about the mental, social, and academic well-being of all students, but especially multicultural students. They are responsible for multiple events on campus including the famous SSU Student Talent Show hosted each year.
