University Housing has been fortunate to hire and
get to know great student leaders at
Shawnee State University and look

looking for students
who exemplify high qualities of leadership. University Housing seeks
students who are honest, able to work with integrity, communicate

The Resident Advisor Selection Process has become very
competitive over recent years.
The RA position has been seen as one of
the most admirable among student positions.

| RA Group Process Day -
Saturday, February 5 |
The Group Process Day is required for all RA applicants. The Group
Process allows for the Housing Staff and current Resident Advisors
to
evaluate the candidates' ability to work within a team. This Saturday
morning is filled with laughs and challenging exercises that will
test the candidates' ability to problem solve and exhibit leadership
qualities.
It's important to BE YOURSELF! We want to see the real you in the
comfortable environment and hope to give you the opportunity
to grow
from this experience.
| RA Individual Interviews - February 9th -
11th |
This is the second round of interviews. You must be invited by
University Housing to sign-up for an interview. After going through
the
team based interview, the individual interview should give us insight
about your character, your student experiences,
and your work history.
We encourage business attire as this is a job interview for you.

Every Candidate who was involved in the Individual Interview process
will receive a letter noting their hiring status. The three responses
include Hired, Alternate and Not Hired.
It is encouraged for the candidates that receive letters offering the
'Alternate' position or who are 'Not Hired' to consider becoming
a
Welcome Leader Member. Should you participate in the Welcome Team, this
allows University Housing to observe you in the
future and the
experience will serve as a great resume builder for future employment.
