Go to
www.orgsync.com. Never been here before:

Click SIGN UP in
the top right corner and create an account for Shawnee State University
by utilizing your university e-mail account.
3.
Once you’ve signed
up and get logged in search for “Residence Life”
4.
Join Housing &
Residence Life 5. Continue on to “Been here before” (see below) Been here before:

Look under FORMS.

forms there:

RA Selection
2013-14 Interest Form
iii.
Reference Form for
Resident Advisor Application
b.
If you do not see 3 forms there, email
Sara Yusko requesting access to the forms. 3. Complete the RA Application Academic Year 2013-2014, upload your Resume and Submit. “I’ve
submitted my application, now what?”

Provide the
Reference form to your references you listed on your application:
a.
If they are on OrgSync, send them this link:

If they are not on
OrgSync, click the Reference Form for Resident Advisor Application and
click the link that says “Download Blank PDF.” 2. Your References can submit this form in any way they would like. They can submit it on OrgSync, email it to Sara Yusko at
syusko@shawnee.edu, mail it to us at Office of
Residence Life, 940 Second Street, Portsmouth, OH 45662, or fax it to us
at 740-351-3643.

from 12-Noon - 5PM for Group Process Day!! This is a MANDATORY event for
all candidates. If you have a conflict with this date, please email Sara

The Group Process Day is required for all Resident Advisor applicants. The Group Process allows for Student Affairs staff and current Resident Advisors to evaluate the candidates' ability to work within a team. This Saturday afternoon (12-noon - 5pm) is filled with laughs and challenging exercises that will test the candidates' ability to problem solve and exhibit their leadership abilities.
It's important to BE YOURSELF! We want to see the real you in the
comfortable environment and hope to give you the opportunity
This is the second round of interviews. You must be invited by the Office of University Housing & Residence Life to sign-up for an interview. After going through the group based interview, the individual interview should give us insight about your character, your student experiences, and your work history. We encourage business attire as this is a job interview for you.
Every Candidate who was involved in the Individual Interview process will receive a letter noting their hiring status. The three responses include Hired, Alternate and Not Hired.
It is encouraged for the candidates that receive letters offering the
'Alternate' position or who are 'Not Hired' to consider becoming |
