Disability Services

What We Do

The Office of Disability Services assists a student's integration into the University community by advocating for a student's rights, promoting awareness of disability issues, and ensuring equal access to University academics, programs and activities.

The Office of Disability Services provides academic accommodations to students with disabilities.  The Office also advocates accessible opportunities by providing a wide range of support services tailored to the individual students, including auxiliary aids (interpreters, note takers, etc.), books in alternative format, extended time for testing, adaptive equipment/computers, as well as other services.  Students are encouraged to arrange an interview with Disability Services to discuss what documentation may be required as well as the types of academic accommodations available to them.
