The President’s Club
We are pleased to invite
donors of $10,000 or more to become members of the President’s Club,
a truly special cadre of supporters. These dedicated friends who
have made large commitments, all at once or over time, in cash or
via a deferred gift, understand that philanthropy to Shawnee State
is an investment in the future of our students and in the entire
area.
They believe, with us, that higher education is of paramount
importance if each individual and all of us together are to grow and
be successful. And they have joined in a partnership with us to make
Shawnee State the best we can be.
As members of the President’s Club they are invited to share in
special activities we all do together — just for fun. Last year we
enjoyed the Radio City Music Hall Rockettes’ Christmas Show at the
Ohio Theater and again had food, fun, and entertainment as we
watched Gone With the Wind in the Clark Planetarium. Won’t you join
us?
Individuals, corporations, or foundations who belong to the
President’s Club are eligible to join societies, which award
“lifetime membership.” Four of the five have special, named levels.
President’s Club Lifetime Membership
$25,000
President’s Society
$50,000
President’s Council
$100,000
President’s Cabinet
$500,000
President’s Inner Circle
$1,000,000
As opposed to gifts of cash, securities, or real property, club credit for deferred gifts is somewhat different. It is based on the commemorative value of your gift which takes into account
your gift type and your age as well as the amount of the gift. The deferred giving vehicles are many and varied, and your inquiry about them will be held in the strictest confidence. The Development Office will be glad to share with you the commemorative value of those deferred gifts, which will define your club level as well as the choice of naming opportunities.
Shawnee State’s President’s Club members have a special bond with the University and our students. They are proud of their affiliation and so are we. We welcome your inquiry about joining.
