Race for the Cure

SSU students' participation in the Komen Columbus Race for the Cure kicked off "Never Too Young...Never Too Old," SSU's campaign to raise breast cancer awareness.

The Shawnee State University Development Foundation received a $54,757 grant from the Columbus affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure for the program.

SSU men’s cross country coach Eric Putnam outpaced 37,000 runners to win the race.
