"Never Too Young...Never Too Old" Breast Cancer Awareness Luncheon October 18, 2007 The Shawnee State University Development Foundation received a grant from the Columbus affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure The grant was used to create "Never Too Young...Never Too Old," a program to improve breast cancer awareness among women in the community, including SSU students. A luncheon for SSU staff, students and their families was held October 18, 2007. Over 70 attendees enjoyed a nice lunch of breast healthy foods, received important health information and heard the story of a breast cancer survivor.
