SSU Women's Center Donates Comfort Bundles to Stepping Stone House; The Women's Center at Shawnee State University collected "Comfort Bundles" for Stepping Stone House, a rehabilitation center for mothers and their children. more

Haskins art on display at Boneyfiddle Art Center; Artist and Shawnee State University adjunct professor Charles Haskins opened a one-man show at the Boneyfiddle Art Center on Tuesday, Dec. 6 with some of his new paintings that will be featured in a children's book he is planning. SSU Student Receives Hixon Business Scholarship; The late James Hixon, a former educator at Huntington High School in Chillicothe, Ohio, established the James Thomas Hixon Huntington High School Business Scholarship at Shawnee State University several years ago. more

The SSU 17th Annual Fall Bear Run scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 21; Every spring and fall since 1995, the Shawnee State University biannual 5K Bear Run has grown and last year, the Fall 2010 Bear Run had a record-breaking year with 942 participants. more
