Fall Bear Run a big success
at Shawnee State University
The 15th Annual Fall Bear Run on Wednesday, Sept. 23 at
Shawnee State University became one of the largest Bear Runs
in Shawnee State history. The race ended with nearly 840
people crossing the finish line. Old and young alike
participated in the run and walk. An awards ceremony
followed with awards going to many age groups. Jeremy
Hornick was the overall winner as he finished the 5K course
in 15:31. Hornick also took home the Larry Mangus Award that
is awarded to the top Shawnee State student finisher. Kayla
Cook was the women's overall finisher as she finished the
course in 19:37. Danielle Morgan was the top SSU student
finisher and took home the Larry Mangus Award as she ran the
course in 20:51.
