Battle of the Bands at Shawnee
State University Nets More Than 250 Cans of Food for Food
Pantry
About 100 students and community members donated more than
250 cans of food for St. Mary’s Food Pantry at a Battle of
the Bands at Shawnee State University on Thursday, Sept. 17.
Four bands performed including Surviving Midnight from
Chillicothe, The Viridian City from Marysville, Shall be The
Conqueror from Chillicothe and The Jubilee from Portsmouth.
The audience voted for The Jubilee as the winner. In the
photo, Surviving Midnight performs.
