Sarah Ray named the 2008-09 James Thomas Hixon
Scholarship recipient at Shawnee State University
The Shawnee State University Scholarship Committee has
announced Sarah Ray as the 2008-09 James Thomas Hixon
Scholarship recipient of $1,500.
Applicants must be a graduate of Huntington High
School, Chillicothe, Ohio pursuing a business
degree, with GPA of 2.5, be involved in
extracurricular activities.
Ray, daughter of Steve and Becky Ray, is a 2008 graduate
of Huntington High School. She was a member of Student
Council, Spanish Club, 4-H, Math Club, Art Club and Prom
Committee. Ray is a radiology major.
The funds of this scholarship are administered by the
SSU Development Foundation. Individuals or organizations
interested in establishing a scholarship can contact the
