Three groups of students at Shawnee State University collected canned food and built sculptures with the cans in a competition. Theta Phi Alpha collected 274 cans, TKE had 227 cans and the new Rotaract Club, a service organization, collected 372 cans to win the competition receiving $200 for the organization. Rotaract members, Dot Flanagan, left, Larry Boldman Jr., center, and Meaghan Redoutey, right, were on the winning team. Not pictured are Ashley Evans, Sarah White, Danielle Boyles and Kayla Myers who also worked on the project.
